I’m deeply moved by philosophy, spirituality, and religion. This album art was inspired by a term I coined, “Simulacrum Creatio,” which emerged from my philosophical treatise, “Sumus Ergo Sum.” In “Sumus Ergo Sum,” I explore how our existence is shaped by our relationships with others, drawing on ideas from Emmanuel Levinas, Martin Heidegger, and Jean-Paul Sartre. While “Sumus Ergo Sum” establishes that we exist through these relationships, “Simulacrum Creatio” emphasizes the active, continuous co-creation of our being through mutual reflections and perceptions.

Inspired by Neem Karoli Baba, this philosophical journey led me to create an experimental song of the same name, weaving these concepts into my art.

“Simulacrum Creatio” (“Creation of Reflection/Image”) challenges Cartesian individualism by asserting that existence is not isolated but dynamically shaped within relational contexts, where life and death alike are verified by those around us. This term expands traditional ideas of simulacra, focusing on the active, reciprocal process of existential creation through our interactions with others.
